The date is set – Friday September 18th.
‘Decanter’ will officially open its doors to the masses next week and as the definition suggests, beverages are definitely going to be a focal point of the strip’s newest addition.
Throw in a smoker bigger than the Owner himself and you have a recipe for awesome – think basted and smoked ribs, pulled pork and in true Pavlovian style, I salivate.
So without further ado, we introduce to you Craig Wright, Owner and a Vic Park local to share his vision for Decanter.
‘Hi Lee and thanks for the opportunity to share my story with you.
My name is Craig Wright I have been a Vic Park local for about 5 years. When the plan for Decanter was hatched, I had no doubt that the Albany Highway strip would be its home – Vic Park has a great vibe and the strip is improving daily with very exciting times to come.
We have been tirelessly renovating and revamping our new ‘digs’ since receiving the keys to 279 Albany Hwy Victoria Park (formerly -That Little Mexican Place).
We are now on the home straight and I can’t wait to share all this hard work with you all once our doors open. I wouldn’t have been able to have done this without a few key people and would love to give them a shout out – my Manager – Kingsley, Head Chef – John and friends and family who have been enjoying sampling the menu and giving us valuable feedback.
Decanter is essentially an American inspired concept that will be offering tapas – style dining. This will include a range of classic American cuisine to some of our signature American tapas dishes, many with a twist of decadence that will be a stand out, hopefully leaving our guests with a memorable experience.
Those who fancy a beverage or two will be able to appreciate a range of our individually crafted cocktails as well as a diverse selection from our fully stocked bar.
