White picket fences and backyards with mulberry trees. Apartments and town houses and villas and everything in-between. It's got a bit of everything.

Foodies rejoice!

What an exciting time to be living the #vicparklife!

There are new eateries popping up everywhere – just in time to do some exploring during the festive break when we really can’t be bothered cooking up any more storms.

The Vic Park Express Mart has been split down the middle and now includes a Vietnamese fast food bar. Traditional soup and noodle staples like Phở, Bún bò Huế and Bún Bò Xào are on offer.
There are a couple of tables down the end so we’ll be trying this one for a quick and tasty lunch break in the new year!

I hope everyone likes Vietnamese, because not too much further down the strip, Little Grill Vietnamese Cafe has just opened and is already fully booked!

Another cheap and cheerful option with starters ranging from $5-8 and rice, noodle and soup dishes all under $15. Can’t wait to re-live Vietnam with the Ñaëc Bieät (roll-it-yourself rice paper, noodles and lots of Asian green herbs). Cool mural too!

Hey Griller Restaurant & Bar…we’re intrigued at what this one might entail. Just a few doors down from the Korean BBQ & Steamboat…can’t find anything about it on Facebook or Google…who’s got the goss?

We’ve been watching the renovations going on in the shop next to The Panke and wondering what it might be.
Is it a bar? Is it a shop?
No, it’s another sushi restaurant! It will be interesting to see if Mr. Munchies Sushi has anything different to offer with at least 4 other sushi joints within a couple of hundred metres of each other…

Which of the old skool Vic Park lifers remembers Liars Saloon?
How fun was that place?! Then it changed to Joe Blacks, then Uber, then The Publican which was recently taken over and changed to DB’z Bar & Bistro…now it’s changing again!!
Soon to be The Opal Bar & Lounge, we’re crossing fingers this one sticks and succeeds, as it looks like they’re trying to provide the much needed live music solution on the strip.

So Vic Parkers…it’s time to get out and about in our awesome town and get these new places tested! We’d love to hear your feedback.
