Take Two

First it was 5th of February, that didn’t happen, but after two long years our esteemed Premier has seen fit to open up WA and unleash us to the rest of the country.

For 697 days we have been locked away in our hermit state here in WA, kept away from family, struggling to maintain self-sufficiency. Some haven’t minded the forced solitude getting back to what’s great about WA and exploring beautiful national forests, wine regions and hiking trails.

As of 12:01 Wednesday the 2nd of March WA’s hard borders are open!

Apart from sweet, sweet freedom, and the joy of reuniting with inter-state loved ones, what does that mean for the Perth property hunters?

Along with the standard Government directive we will be observing the following rules at home opens:

* 1 person per 2m2 venue capacity (you should be able to swing your arms around without hitting Steve or Jane).

* Masks to be worn (we miss the smiles, but the crinkle eyes will give you away)

* Avoid touching hard surfaces (would you really touch Fran’s family photos anyway?)

* Sanitiser available (use it like it’s going out of fashion)

* DO NOT ENTER if you have any symptoms that may be from COVID (I mean…)

* QR codes for scanning in (if you’re like us, you probably do a double take if a place DOESN’T have a code to scan in)

Let’s work together to find you a home whilst keeping its occupants (and you and me) safe.

Alice Brydges.
