Victoria Park Hotel has a new beer garden!
Baston and Co. undertook a gastronomic outing in the interests of community research.
Alice, our resident Pescatarian, myself (with a set of hollow legs) and Derek, a particularly demanding Glutard, entered the Beer garden, like gunslingers, eyes darting around.
An expansive outdoor area, spacious and vibrant, fit for the broad human palette that is Vic Park.
Boasting a selfie corner, playground, high tables, shade and places to hide away for longer lunches, this is a Beer Garden of extravagant proportions.
Within 15 minutes of scanning the QR code menu I was stuck into a delicious chicken parmi (not parma).
This is a feast of some proportion, but potentially hosting the world’s largest tapeworm, I polished it off in no time.
Derek and Alice both had a great choice of food and the staff were great at catering to their particular needs.
Alice enjoyed a Lobster Roll that she can now only describe as ‘so good’ whilst drooling.
Derek loaded up with the loaded fries and Beef Brisket – I believe he has already been back to experience this again.
The Beer Garden is an amazing addition to the Victoria Park Hotel, and was exactly what the strip was missing.
At busy times be prepared to book a table in advance – it’s that good!
